Q: Can you make a general resume?

We would prefer that you have a sense of your career goal so that we can be specific on your resume. General resumes typically will not get the traction you are looking for. We suggest targeting a specific job and we will craft a targeted resume.

Q: What happens after I submit my payment?

Based on the date and time you select; you will receive a call from us to begin your consultation. All packages include a consultation call and shortly thereafter we begin crafting your resume.

Q. Do we guarantee you will get the job?

We make no guarantees because we are not the hiring authority. We guarantee a professional presentation of your resume. We guarantee that we will make any necessary revisions to your resume. We guarantee that we will deliver your resume on time. Remember, the primary purpose of a resume is to land the interview and the interview lands the job.

Q: Do you offer any discounts?

We offer return customer discounts and occasionally offer seasonal and other discounts.

Q: Do you issue refunds?

All purchases are final. We want you to be happy with your resume. Our process is very collaborative. Our goal is for you to be pleased with the final product.

Q: Do you have payment plans?

Not currently. However, we are working on offering other payment options.

Q: What’s the turnaround time?

Depending on your package, our writers will provide your resume in a 7-10 business day (Monday-Friday;  excluding holidays) window.

Note: This timeline starts after your consultation call.

Q: Is there a service to help me figure out my career path?

Yes, we offer Career Coaching services that focus on aligning your transferable skills with your next career.

Q: Can I request changes when I get my new resume?

Yes, absolutely. You will be given 5 business days to request changes to your new resume. One change request opportunity is included with most packages. If you don’t respond within the allotted time (5 business days), we will conclude that you have no revisions. If you contact us after the allotted time, you will be charged for a new resume/2nd resume.

Q: Do you provide samples of your work?

No, we do not provide samples. Each client and industry are different. We create customized resumes with the client’s needs in mind.

Q: How will I communicate with my writer?

You will communicate via email. Your writer reserves the right to reach out to you during the process.

Q: What’s your success rate? 

We have seen previous clients get traction as early as 2 days after submitting their resume for job opportunities. However, there are many factors that play into the success of your resume. No professional resume writer can guarantee you will find a job based just off your resume. However, we believe we give your resume the best chance to be noticed by a recruiter/hiring manager so that you are called for an interview.

Q. What other services do we offer?

We offer Career Coaching, Interview Preparation, Training and Development, Pick Our Brains, and Resume Critique.

Q: What option do I choose if I want a second resume? 

If you are requesting a 2nd resume after purchase, please contact us and we will provide a discounted price for the 2nd resume.

Q: How are the revisions done? Does it cost extra?

Depending on your package, you will receive one or two revisions included in the package. You will receive a draft of your new resume and will have the chance to provide detailed feedback within an allotted timeframe. If you decide to change the direction of your resume, this will be considered a new resume and you’ll be charged.
